As a first-time BMW owner (well, making payments), I didn't know quite what I was getting into, being a Toyota or Honda person for nearly my entire car-buying life. My impulse, mid-life crisis response surprised me at the time. But now it seems to all make sense as it led me to find Terry Sayther for my trusted mechanic. Yes, the dreaded BMW expensive maintenance is real but Nichole Watson gets that I have to make some budget adjustments, and respectfully presents good options to that end. Her long and careful attention to my concerns is most appreciated. It's something she is highly skilled at, identifying a cluster of potential problems and doing estimates which she graciously submits for my consideration. I recommend giving Terry Sayther your email so you can take advantage of coupons as well

This shop is great. Their people are honest and there isn't a more knowledgable BMW shop in the Austin area. Yes, these folks are as good as any dealership, *and* their knowledge spans decades of BMWs, not just the new models. The inspection reports that they send after every service are stellar. These reports show their tech's attention to detail and they include pics so I can see exactly what they're talking about. As for pricing, I've found that the cost of their services match what I've seen from other specialty shops but I've never had these guys try to sell me additional services. They legitimately report what they find, and explain the impact of the issue. I haven't had any surprise costs with them. The staff is friendly and responsive.

Hands down the best mechanic experience I've ever had. At other shops, I'm talked to like a child and/or quoted for repairs I don't need (thinking that I don't know any better). The team at Terry Sayther treated me with respect, honesty, and care. I will never go to another mechanic as long as I have a BMW.
