Phil Hartman, George Adkins, & Terry took the vintage 2002 to Ft. Worth for the final spring Corinthian Vintage Race. With perfect weather- partly cloudy and highs of around 80° F - there were around 120 cars at the event, including around 30 in our race group! With that many cars, there is always great racing.

Terry qualified 3rd for the Saturday race, but started last as usual, since racing is always most fun when when starting in last place. In the three races for the weekend he finished 5th, 8th and 9th overall, starting in last place each time. -And we had great fun!

The only sad note was the lack of other 2002 racers. There are at least 8 other 2002 racers in the region, but only Tim Woodruf from Houston came out for this weekend...he had a clutch failure on Friday, towed home, fixed the car and came back to race on Sunday. Now that's dedication! And he is fast!

April 2007 - Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit

Terry & Phil took our '74 2002 Vintage Racer to Hallet Motor Racing Circuit for (3-30-07) Friday practice and for racing on Saturday & Sunday . After a dreary Friday with thunderstorms and cold, the sun came out for Saturday & Sunday and all was right with the world. Dense air, new track surfaces and good tires made for fast times & hotly contested races.

Terry elected to start at the back of the field most races so that he could see more traffic to race with, and he had a wonderful time. He set a new record at the track for the B Sedan Class.

February 2007- Vintage Race Season Opens at Texas World Speedway

Terry & Phil took our '74 2002 Vintage Racer to College Station for Friday practice and for racing on Saturday & Sunday. Our ususal thorough preparation meant that we had no problems at all during the weekend and the car just got faster and faster.

Terry elected to start at the back of the field most races so that he could see moretraffic to race with, and he had a wonderful time. His fastest time (ever) came Sunday with a 2 minute 1.8 second lap, setting a new record for the B Sedan Class. We can't wait for next month, racing in Oklahoma!
