A MINI Vacation in Vegas
Page 2

Friday, February 6th: In the early morning, there were still only a few MINIs at the event, but Dunc and Bryan set up our display and talked to the other early arrivals—maybe 25 cars. Friday afternoon 10-15 cars went motoring on a Mountain Drive up into the snow, about 100 miles altogether. Friday night dinner was at Aladdin's World-Wide Buffet, holy smoke what a spread. By suppertime there were almost 100 people lined up to eat…more than expected. Bryan and Duncan were some of the last to be let in the door!

Everybody over 21 got five free chips at the Casino to play for a remote-controlled MINI Cooper after dinner (they didn't win, boo-hoo) but then all the MINIs got together for cruising up and down the Strip. I bet that was a sight.

Saturday, February 7th: The boys got up early to set up shop again (our trailer and tent full of ALTA aftermarket performance parts). Most people who were awake took off for another Fun Drive. At midday, people went out to Sunset Park across town for a Meet and Greet with vendors and lots of car talk. Our little teardrop trailer was the center of attention.

The MINI FINI people were there, showing great parts that are still under development, so they don't have much to sell yet. Fun to look at, though! MINI MANIA was there as well with a big RV and trailer. (We think our Lil Schmutzie and trailer are a lot cuter!)
