January 2003: We did have a little clean up from last year---we had to remove the damaged rear shocks and send them back to Bilstein in San Diego for repair.

February 22-23, 2003: Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing [CVAR] at Texas World Speedway. Our goal for the weekend was to work on suspension balance a bit, see if any power gain was to be had with some timing changes, and get some baseline lap times with our two types of tires. We accomplished all of these goals very nicely. Advancing the timing seemed to give a bit more power and disconnecting the rear sway bar allowed the rear tires to retain traction in tight corners. We relearned what we already knew---this car has great brakes and really tight suspension. It works great in the corners, just lacks power. We'll be working on that.
